PI Professional
I am a 1987 graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic now Northwestern Health Sciences University. After 20 years in practice, I went to work for the PI dedicated chiropractic group practice, Emergency Chiropractic.
For almost the next full 10 full years, I only saw individuals involved in a Motor Vehicle Collision. No other type of patient, just those involved in a car accident.
In 2015, Dynamic Chiropractic magazine published my first article, Diagnose Sprain Injuries in MVA Cases With Dynamic X-Rays (available in the main website). The test demonstrates radiological proof of the sprain and the likelihood of acute traumatic disc injury. Very valuable information due to the new changes in ICD-10 coding.
A passion was ignited to research all manner of material concerning traumatic injury that could be seen in the chiropractic office. Three more writings were produced. Spinal Cord Injury without Radiographic Abnormality (SCIWORA), Follow-Up X-Ray demonstrating acute traumatic disc herniation and a new test to diagnose severe thoracic and lumbar injuries, the Flexion Distraction Test (FDT). Traumatic Central Disc Herniation published December, 2023. Just published, Stroke and the Motor-Vehicle Accident: Clinical Safeguards, 04-2024, is the newest article. It is available on the main section of this site.
With over 5000 PI cases seen, opportunities to provide testimony in lawsuits and trials developed along the course of my career. These experiences have provided me with an incite into PI case management and processing that would otherwise be unattainable. Cherishable events to be certain.
PI PRO was developed to share the research and practice experience with my collogues.
PI PRO developed the downloadable program Imaging for MVA Trauma that provides more research into trauma diagnosis. Concussion, Post Concussion Syndrome, Spinal Cord Injury and detection of vertebral body microfracture (VBMF) and much more. Trial and lawsuit testimony and portrayals taken from my actual transcripts are incorporated at key positions that would have an impact on your own cases.
I am so confident this in-depth research and extensive field experience will benefit you, as it has me, in producing better patient diagnosis, case outcomes and practice growth and success.
Sincerely,
Dr. Troy A. Freiheit
